I will go over the steps of getting into CopyBotting for you so that you can understand and be an accomplished Botter. Don't worry; if this blog is deleted, I will make more. First, you need to download WinRar. It will allow you to open the main files needed in order run the CopyBot viewer. *Do not uninstall WinRar unless you plan on never using it again* Second, you will need to download Utorrent (You can choose your language in the upper right hand corner). Downloading Utorrent allows you to open Torrent files that hold WinRar files holding the contents you need for CopyBotting. Both safe and trusted downloads can be found below:

WinRar (Choose your language, then download) *DO NOT* choose RAR- http://www.win-rar.com/download.html Now all that's left is downloading the CopyBot viewer! Neillife has released exactly 19 items, not all being viewers, but roughly 90% of them are. These will be able to be accessed after opening Utorrent, then finding the file that says '15 Neillife Releases + Sirius + 2 SL Proxies + ripped animations', which should have a filled-in blue arrow on its left. Once that's downloaded, you can open up Utorrent and find the file through the process I mentioned in the paragraph above. Because you already have all that you need downloaded, nothing will stop you. Once you have the 15 Neillife Releases opened, find the folder/file saying 'Neillife 3.5 Stealth (Most recent one)'. This is the best viewer to use if you're going for being secret and the best with your CopyBotting. You will get two options after you open it, so click on the option named the same thing. There are many confusing names and pictures and such, but not to worry. Once you've gotten past the second Neillife 3.5 Stealth Version, scroll down until you see something called SecondLife.exe. Double click it. A loading bar will pop up that you simply need to wait through. Give it a few more seconds, ands, voila! You're in!STEP 1) Open UtorrentSTEP 2) Now Select Neillife 3.5STEP 3) Select Neillife 3.5 a Second TimeSTEP 4) Double Click SecondLife.exe
This is the most recommended way of CopyBotting: Of course, have multiple alternate accounts. *Never* CopyBot or even log onto this viewer on your main account if you care about keeping it. Even when using alternate accounts, make sure to use the Forge Creator function. When you transfer your CopyBotted items to your main account, your main will be far away from possible blame, much less being banned/permabanned. This is because not only does the creator show as not your alternate account, but your main will not be shown as the Last Owner, convincing most nosy people to steer clear of your main. *Be careful about using famous, even semi-famous users, new users, deleted accounts (people can see the creation date of objects), and objects that require scripts to work properly* If you use an object that is created by someone a lot of avatars know for forging a creator, people will know they didn't do it. New users without anything in their profile will be able to be suspected easily. Objects that don't work are obviously CopyBotted (If you're good at scripts, create one for the object so that it works properly).Using CopyBotBento Copybot Viewer Download The actual process of CopyBotting is fairly simple. To begin, you should test on an alternate or trusted avatar in a secluded area that almost never has traffic. *Please do not ever attempt to begin, finish or even do this process in front of random people. They will know what you are doing and that means the end of you.* Right click on the avatar's prim (Like hair, shoes, etc.) and a pie chart should show. Continue looking at possible features until you find one called 'Export'; keep clicking 'More >' if it doesn't seem to show up. A screen from your computer should pop up. *Don't mess with where you save the file; your computer knows best. If you accidentally do, restart the viewer and it will be fixed* Rename the item to whatever helps you remember what it is and click 'Save'.
*Remember to Import items in an area with rez available* Now, in your safe and secluded area (You can Export people's things without them realizing, but you cannot Import them* check the RADAR function!) select 'File' in the upper left hand corner of your screen. There are different options, but for this purpose we'll choose 'Import Linkset' because the item is linked and an object.
Now just choose the item that you named earlier and select 'Open'.
You'll see a box continue to flash on your screen and objects rez with it, but *DO NOT MOVE OR DO ANYTHING WITH THEM* because when it's finished it will link together and go onto your avatar. All done!
My computer cannot read files for things such as skin, eyes and clothing, but if yours can, you would go through the same process as you would in Exporting sculpted/built goods. The only difference is in Importing. Instead of choosing 'Import Linkset' you would select 'Import Wearable'. To find these textures that you need, right click on an avatar and choose, out of the pie chart, 'Avatar Textures'. If you attempt 'Avatar Clothing' and instead Bake their skin with the circular 'B' button, (about the only thing you can do, excluding eyes and maybe something else if you're lucky) it won't be much good anyways, because once you log off they will show as gray.Copy Bot Viewer Download 'Import Shape' I believe is self explanatory. When trying to export and import animations, remember that it's not free and costs 10L per animation if you want it to work properly. Though that may sound terribly dreadful to actually pay money to SL, it's much cheaper than paying around, if not more, 2,000L for some Animation Overrider.Second Life Copybot ViewerUsing Forge CreatorLook at the tab options along the bottom of your screen. Select 'Neillife toolbar'.
In its subtabs, select 'CopyBot'. This is the screen you'll need to use when choosing what avatar name you'd like to appear as the object's creator. It probably being the first time you've used this viewer, the bottom rectangle should say 'Currently set to: Not Set', or something along those lines. Don't close it, but minimize it.
Using a *MUST BE* box (You can use a different shape so long as you edit it to turn into a normal-looking [Cannot simply SAY it's now a box] box, but does not have to have a certain texture) created by your main or another trusted avatar for testing and renamed to something you'll recognize, reopen the screen from before and drag that box into the top rectangle. The bottom rectangle should now read 'Currently set to: Whatever you called it'. Before you start anything, make sure that the two check boxes are ticked and that the object's shape is equivalent to X=0.52345, Y=0.52346, and Z=0.52347. *REMEMBER, CREATOR CANNOT BE YOU*
Now the moment of truth. Import an item, and watch to see who it says it's created by! Certainly not you. The Exporting, naming and Importing processes are not shown as it's seen under 'Using CopyBot'. *When using Forge Creator seriously, make a copy of your item that you'll be using and rename it to what you plan on wanting the object to be named. Keeping the item name to something strange clues people in on your scam*
